I’ve been a member of the Buffalo Mountain Food Coop community for about 34 years, am a current Board member and have served on the Coop Board several times in the past.
During my tenure on the Board we drafted the Policy Governance including our Global Ends, our Vision Statement, adopted the current member-owner equity system, amended the Bylaws several times, and purchased and developed the Buffalo Mountain Market.
I currently am serving on the Coop Building Committee, the 50th Anniversary Committee and the Global Ends committee. I am committed to the successful future of our wonderful Coop and hope that we are able to maintain the collective spirit through any future transformations.
We have a very special community in Hardwick and I’ve always felt privileged to be part of it. Remember, WE OWN IT!!
