Hello Fellow Cooperators,
Welcome to February! With more snow on the way, thoughts of our community keep us warm. We’ve got a lot of information for you, including part one of a series of impact reports we’re planning, some news from NOFA-VT, a few job listings, and more. Thanks for reading, and we hope to see you in the store soon.
Local Eggs Back in Stock
We’re pleased to report that hens are laying again and local organic eggs are back in stock! We apologize for the shortage over the past couple of weeks. The new steps we’ve taken should ensure a plentiful supply going forward. Thank you for your patience, feedback, and understanding. And thank you so much to the generous folks who share the extra eggs their hens lay to help us feed our community. We love local.
The Co-op’s Impact: Part 1
As an early example of our ongoing work to understand and share the impact we have on the communities we interact with — from international to local — we’re happy to share these infographics from Equal Exchange. They show the positive impact you’ve had on small farms by purchasing bananas and avocados throughout 2025. Look for more impact reports in the coming months related to our regional and local communities as examples of the larger scope benefits of shopping at the co-op.

A CSA is a subscription (usually weekly) from a farm for a regular supply of farm-fresh veggies, dairy products, meats, bread, and more.
Applications are open February 1st through February 28th. Apply today at nofavt.org/farmshare. Contact fa*******@****vt.org or 802-419-0049 with any questions.
