There’s quite a lot of activity in the store this week as we prepare for the Co-op Basics program from NCG. In case you’re curious about the process, we’ve compiled a list of common questions about the reset and the Co-op Basics program.

Why is the store being reset?

We’re updating our layout to make the store easier to navigate and to make room for Co+op Basics—a new collection of staple grocery items at everyday low prices. Think of it as a spring refresh with purpose.

What is Co+op Basics?

Co+op Basics is a program that offers affordable prices on pantry essentials like beans, rice, pasta, dairy, cereal, cleaning products, and more. These are high-quality natural and organic items, often from trusted brands like Field Day, available at prices you can count on every day—not just during sales.

What kinds of items are included?

You’ll find:

• Organic canned goods

• Whole grains, nuts, and seeds

• Peanut butter, pasta, and sauces

• Kids’ snacks and lunchbox staples

• Household items and cleaning supplies

Are Co+op Basics lower quality because they’re cheaper?

Not at all. These are simple, wholesome foods—many of them certified organic or non-GMO. You’re just not paying extra for branding or packaging. We’ve chosen items that meet our co-op standards for quality, health, and sustainability.

Will anything go away during the reset?

We are phasing out a few slow-selling or duplicate items to make space. But we’re being thoughtful about it—and doing our best to keep customer favorites in stock. Let us know if something you love disappears. We’re listening!

How long will the reset take?

Most of the layout changes will happen during the week of April 21 and wrap up by April 25. You may notice some shifting shelves and new signage during that time. Our team will be available to help you find what you need.

What if I can’t find something?

Please ask! We’re happy to help you find what you’re looking for. You can also leave us a suggestion—we love hearing what matters to our shoppers.
