Greetings again Friends and Fellow Cooperators,

It’s April again, and nature has been fooling us back and forth with sun and snow and rain and sun, but we know warmth is on the way!

Some Important dates:

  • Open 9-5 on Easter Sunday, April 20th.
  • Annual meeting on April 27th
  • 50th Anniversary party on September 13th

Co-op Basics Program

We’re excited to announce we’re joining NCG’s Co-op Basics Program at the end of April, and you’ll start to see in-store signs related to it around that time.

This program is intended to bring consistent, affordable pricing on organic products to our store. We’ll be reorganizing the store layout during the week of April 21 and expect to have over 200 low-cost organic products integrated by that Friday, the 25th.

The Co-Op Basics Program enables us to offer high-quality organic goods at an everyday low price. Once implemented, the products will be available continuously. This is not a sales program with an ending date. Occasionally, products may change in response to marketplace demands.

Store Reset Coming Soon

During the week of the 21st, we will work with experts to rearrange the store to fit in these new items. We’ve done a great job setting up the store, and we are excited to take this next step in our product layout plan. Change can be tricky. We do believe this change will have a positive impact on you, our members and shoppers. Thank you for your patience and adaptability during this time.

If you need anything during or after this transition, don’t hesitate to ask one of our staff.

Weekly Buffalo Mountain Market flyers

Just a reminder that our weekly front-end grocery flyers will be going away and available only online. The last week of printed sales will end this month. We are still in the planning stages of creating our own unified flyer. To see all of the latest sales, you can always visit https://buffalomountainmarket.com/sales/. If you have any questions, please reach out to in**@**fc.coop.

Employment Openings

We have a number of job openings throughout the store as we are getting ready for our busy season, so please drop off a resume and a cover letter describing your interest, or stop by the website. You can also apply directly by clicking the link below.

Join the Coop Board of Directors

Be a part of driving the Buffalo Mountain Market forward towards positive and sustainable growth and sign up to run for the Coop’s Board of Directors. The Coop is looking for skilled individuals to run for one of 4 open seats on the Board. Interested candidates should submit a short bio paragraph and a picture to the Coop. Currently there are 2 unoccupied seats and 2 incumbents running for the positions, and the Board is looking for folks with legal, financial, and administrative skills to round out our current BOD.

Elections will start at the Annual Meeting on April 27 and run for 2 weeks.  The Coop embraces the cooperative principle of democratically run ownership, so take this opportunity to have a say in how we make significant decisions that will steer the Coop in the direction we all wish.

Please submit your interest and information to Chris Duff (cd***@*******nt.net) before April 24th.

Annual Meeting

The annual meeting will be on April 27th starting at 4:00 p.m. at the American Legion. There will be a dinner and mixer after the meeting.
